Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Kiara Advani assures to retain the the essence of the original Manjulika
Karthik Aryan and Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is the sequel to iconic horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa which was helmed by Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan.

Ever since the makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa have announced it’s sequel fans are going all crazy to witness the madness again. Bhool Bhulaiyaa was highly appreciated by the audience which brings in more pressure on the newly paired cast. While in a conversation with a portal Kiara made some affirmations regarding her character.
She revealed that she is not stepping into someone’s shoes and that saying yes to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 came easy for her. She also said that though the storyline is new they have tried to retain the essence of the original Manjulika.“This is not a psychological thriller, but a horror comedy. There is a layer of black magic,” said Kiara.
Vidya Balan's role as Manjulika is considered as her performance and it definitely must have being challenging for Kiara to nail it. When asked about the pressure to outperform Vidya she said, “I wanted to do the film because a genre like that could be transformed into a family entertainer.”
