Vidya Balan to star in Dinesh Vijan's next based on covid-19 pandemic
The film, titled Waiting Room, will be a heart touching story based on covid pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.

Vidya Balan, whose stellar performance in Jalsa (2022) is being applauded by all, is all set to star in producer Dinesh Vijan's next. The film titled Waiting Room is based om the backdrop of the covid-19 pandemic and will be helmed by Laxman Utekar of Mimi (2021) fame.
As per reports, Waiting Room will be a heart touching story based on the corona virus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. It will depict a realistic story with thrilling, relatable experiences, hardships and ordeals which people faced during the covid lockdown.
With Vidya onboard, we can expect the movie to be a gripping one full of power packed acting. As of now, the director has started the recee and the film will go on floors in June 2022.
On the work front, Vidya Balan will be next seen in an yet-untitled romantic comedy alongside Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D' Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy. She will reunite with Anu Menon for a murder mystery film. Besides, Vidya will also produce and star as Indira Gandhi in a web series based on the latter's biography 'Indira: India's Most Powerful Prime Minister' by Sagarika Ghose.
