'Haider' undergoes 41 Censor Cuts!
Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Haider' underwent 41 censor cuts from the Indian Censor Board Committee for its spine-chilling scenes.
Making out from its adulterous promos, 'Haider' was destined to undergo the cut and sew editing process from the Indian Censor Board Committee. But no one would have ever wondered that the film has to bear 41 Censor Cuts from the editorial board.
Reportedly Censor committee considered some scenes inappropriate to get displayed on the big screens. To list a few, these spine-chilling visuals were of a burning body, corpuses piled in a truck, a close-up shot of an appendix surgery, a stone-pelting incident and a wire being inserted in naked man. But now they are no more in the film 'Haider'.
'Haider' also happens to be the last film to be censored by suspended CEO Rakesh Kumar, who is presently under the scanner for the case of bribery.
Starring Shahid Kapoor, Tabu, Shraddha Kapoor and Kay Kay Menon in the lead roles, 'Haider' will hit the theatres on October 2.
