Brahmastra: ‘Ayan Mukerji made changes based on suggestions from SS Rajamouli's father,’ says Ranbir Kapoor
SS Rajamouli's father, KV Vijayendra Prasad, suggested adjustments to Ayan Mukerji after seeing Brahmastra, according to Ranbir Kapoor.

The makers of Brahmastra are gearing up to release the magnum opus this year, after making fans wait for a long time. Yesterday, the film’s teaser was unveiled. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt play the lead roles in this fantasy drama.
On Tuesday, Ranbir and Ayan, as well as SS Rajamouli, commenced the film's promotions in Vizag. After hearing advice from SS Rajamouli's father, KV Vijayendra Prasad, the Rockstar (2011) actor revealed to the media that Ayan forced them to reshoot Brahmastra for four days. This, he claims, is due to Ayan's high regard for the senior filmmaker and the fact that they are all grateful for his contributions to the making of the movie.
Ranbir Kapoor was quoted saying, “After your father watched the film. Ayan made us reshoot for four days after receiving suggestions from SS Rajamouli’s father. This is because he values him so much and we all are very grateful for his contribution to our film.”
The mythology-based fantasy trilogy Brahmastra stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as the lead characters Shiva and Isha. Nagarjuna plays Ajay Vashisht, an archaeologist, while Amitabh plays Professor Arvind Chaturvedi. Damayanti is Mouni's character.
This is the first time Ranbir and Alia will appear on screen together. The film is finally set to hit theaters on September 9, 2022, after multiple delays.
