5 upcoming films of Bhumi Pednekar set to give her career a new boost in 2022

2022 is going to be a full-packed year for Bhumi Pednekar as she has not one or two, but six film releases this year. However, since the sixth project is not yet announced, here are the five upcoming films that will be a new milestone for Pednekar, who is known for taking up diverse characters.

1. Badhaai Do

Directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni, Badhaai Do features Bhumi Pednekar alongside Rajkummar Rao. The comedy drama revolves around the theme of lavender marriage. It is produced by Junglee Pictures and is set to release on February 11, 2022.

2. The Lady Killer

The film will be a suspense drama. Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar will play lead roles, while Ajay Bahl is attached to direct. The film tells the story of a small-town playboy (Kapoor) who falls in love with a self-destructive beauty (Pednekar) as they embark on a whirlwind romance.

3. Bheed

After Badhaai Do, Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar will be seen together again in Bheed. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and directed by Anubhav Sinha.

4. Govinda Naam Mera

In this classic pati, patni, and woh story, Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, and Bhumi Pednekar will be in lead roles. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan for Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

5. Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan will be a festive family drama starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles. It is directed by successful filmmaker Aanand L. Rai. The filmmaker is also bankrolling it under Colour Yellow Productions.
