'A woman beater, a sadistic sick,' Somy Ali slams former boyfriend Salman Khan

Former Pakistani actress Somy Ali and Salman Khan dated each other during the 90s. However, the duo parted ways after being together for close to a decade. The reason behind the split was reportedly Salman cheating on Somy.

Recently, Ali shared a poster of Salman's 1989 blockbuster Maine Pyar Kiya, which was directed by Sooraj Barjatya. In the caption, without taking names, Somy asked people to stop ‘worshipping him'.

“A women beater, and not just me, but many. Stop worshiping him please. He’s a sadistic sick *#uk. You have no idea,” she wrote.

Noteworthy, Somy was a huge fan of Salman in the 1990s when his film Maine Pyar Kiya was released. Later, the duo even acted together in a movie which later got shelved. They were also involved in a romantic relationship which lasted close to a decade.

In an earlier interview with an entertainment channel, Somy had revealed that it was Salman's infidelity which led to their breakup. “He cheated on me and I broke up with him and left. It’s as simple as that,” she said.

"Don't know how many girlfriends he's had since I left. I hope women he abused share their stories one day," Somy added.
