Aamir Khan to produce Ex-wife Kiran Rao’s directorial venture
After Laal Singh Chaddha, the ex-couple is set to release another film as collaborators.

Last year, Aamir Khan's fans received the heart-breaking news when he announced separation from wife Kiran Rao. The couple issued a joint statement in which they said they would remain friends and collaborators even after the divorce.
And that might be true, as Aamir Khan is on board to produce Kiran Rao’s upcoming directorial venture. The ex-couple also worked on Laal Singh Chaddha. The upcoming film, also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, will release this year.
Kiran Rao decided on the script for her directorial venture and Aamir Khan also liked it. That’s why the ex-couple will work as director and producer on the said film.
Reportedly, the film is said to be a mass entertainer and will star Jamtara's Sparsh Srivastava and Qurbaan Hua's Pratibha Ranta and Peshwa Bajirao's Nitanshi Goel. The film’s shooting has already begun in Pune on January 8. The shooting is said to be stretched till January 20.
The film will take a break after that and soon resume shooting. The film is written by Biplab Goswami, the screenplay is by Sneha Desai, and the music will be by Ram Sampath with Amitabh Bhattacharya as lyricist. Kiran aims to finish the film by April 2022.
Speaking about the ex-couple working together, a source said, "Kiran's next is a massy entertainer. Aamir loved the script when she narrated it to him and instantly agreed to come on board as producer. The two continued to remain friends and collaborators after their divorce.”
