Kumar told a news source on X that both the new ad and the one that aired in 2022 were actually filmed on October 13, 2021, and that he had nothing to do with the brand after making it public that he would no longer support it. He did say, though, that the brand has until the end of next month to legally run the ads that have already been shot.

Kumar got in trouble in 2022 when he was in an ad for Vimal Elaichi with Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan. He told his fans on X that he was sorry and that he would no longer work with the company.

Some news stories said that Kumar had come back as Vimal Elaichi's brand ambassador, so Kumar clarified the situation. He has, however, made it clear that he is no longer working with the brand and that the new ad is just an old one that was shown again.

Take A Look:

It is important to know that Vimal Elaichi is a name of pan masala, and in India, pan masala is a contentious food. Some people say it's bad for your health, while others say it's part of their culture.

Some friends and people on social media didn't like Kumar's choice to promote a pan masala brand. But the actor explained his choice by saying that he wasn't trying to sell tobacco and that he trusted the brand.

Everyone is likely to stop talking about the Vimal Elaichi ad controversy now that Kumar has given his new explanation. It's also a good lesson for famous people to be picky about the brands they support because it can have a big effect on how people see them.
