Alia Bhatt reveals how much she charged for her debut film Student Of The Year

Alia Bhatt is one of the most commercially successful actors in Bollywood and is soon set to make her mark in Hollywood. With Karan Johar's Student Of The Year, she made her film debut in 2012, and she gained prominence with each of her movies. However, do you know what she charged for her first film?

With Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra as her co-stars, Alia signed her first movie deal at the age of 19. Recently, the actress shared her experiences thus far, including what she did with her first paycheck.

The Raazi (2018) actress claimed in a recent interview that she received 15 lakh rupees for her role in Student Of The Year. But instead of spending her first paycheck, she gave it to Soni, her mother. She stated, “I deposited the cheque straight to my mother and very nicely said, ‘Mamma, you handle the money’. Till date, my mother has handled my money.”

Nobody anticipated that Alia Bhatt would become one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood after her underwhelming debut. However, Highway (2014), her second film with Imtiaz Ali, demonstrated her acting talent, and ever since then, she has excelled in whatever role you can think of.
