Alia Bhatt was seen in a black Lehenga with Ranveer Singh while shooting for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani

Alia Bhatt was spotted wearing a black lehenga on the sets of her next film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, rather than at a pre-wedding function. Alia has been filming for the film despite reports that she is planning to marry Ranbir Kapoor this week. The sets were also visited by filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Ranveer Singh.

Alia can be seen in pictures from the set of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani wearing a black lehenga with just a hint of glitter. She wore it with a black blouse and dupatta, and her hair was left loose. Ranveer was dressed in a lemon-green kurta. Karan Johar, who returns to directing after a six-year hiatus, was dressed in a white nightgown with a splash of color. Ibrahim Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan's son, has been helping Karan on the sets and was dressed in a yellow tee and denim.

Alia and Ranveer's outfits were identical to those seen in a video of Farah Khan holding a video chat with them on the set of the film. Farah is presently in the United States and spoke with Alia via video chat. Farah asked Alia if she missed her and she replied, "Bahut (a lot)." People around Farah wished Alia "congratulations" while she was still speaking. Alia even asked, "for what?" but Farah cut the phone call short by simply saying, "okay, bye."

Previously, Alia's uncle Robin Bhatt confirmed that she will marry Ranbir Kapoor on April 14, with the Mehendi ritual taking place on April 13. Her half-brother Rahul Bhatt has now stated that the wedding has been delayed by a few days due to details being leaked in the media.

Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra also appear in Rocky Aur Rani. It will be Ranveer and Alia's second film together following the 2019 blockbuster Gully Boy.
