Ananya Panday reveals she felt ‘disconnected’ from friends after starting her career right after school

The Student of the Year 2 (2019) actress Ananya Panday has emerged as one of the favourite actresses among the new generation. Though she is a few films old, we can see her growing with every film she does and in no time she has gained a huge following for herself.

For the unversed, Ananya Pandey is the daughter of Hindi film actor Chunkey Pandey and she made her debut through Dharma Production's Student of the Year 2. Ever since she has been proving her calibre and has managed to mark her place in the film industry.

During a chat with a media channel, the actress opened up about her life as she geared up for her career right after school. “All my friends were still in school and some in college while I was going to work. Back then, I had felt disconnected from them. Today, I am back to being them and I am regaining my balance now. I value the experience of working; nothing teaches you like work, she said.

She further added, “In these three-four years, I have seen a fair share of success and failure, both personally and professionally. These things force you to grow up sooner than you’d like. And I am not complaining about that. I always did have this side to myself and I am just growing into my true self every single day”

Speaking of her upcoming films, Ananya Pandey has starred alongside Vijay Deverakonda for Puri Jagannadh’s Pan-India film Liger. Currently, she is shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Siddhant and Adarsh Gourav.
