Anil Kapoor Gets Identified As 'Kapoor of Slumdog Millionaire' In The New York Times Crossword Challenge (Details Inside)

Anil Kapoor portrayed Prem Kumar, a game show presenter, in Danny Boyle's 2008 drama Slumdog Millionaire, which won an Academy Award. “When your name is part of a crossword puzzle in a foreign country, you have arrived! @AnilKapoor, this is a crossword puzzle in USA,” he wrote, to which Kapoor replied, “Thank you".

Anil Kapoor, recently had his name listed as a clue in the New York Times crossword challenge, which a Silicon Valley fan in the US shared on Twitter. The clue stated, "Kapoor of Slumdog Millionaire." The crossword challenge was also posted by Kapoor on his Instagram stories. “In the NY Times Crossword Puzzle today!” he wrote.

In Danny Boyle's 2008 drama Slumdog Millionaire, Anil Kapoor portrays Prem Kumar, the famous host of the game show Kaun Banega Crorepati. The voyage of a teenager from the Mumbai slums who wins the game show Kaun Banega Crorepati? is the subject of the movie.

At the 81st Academy Awards, Slumdog Millionaire took home eight Oscars, including two each for Best Original Song and Best Original Score, both of which were awarded by A.R. Rahman. For the ceremony that year, Kapoor had walked the red carpet alongside the rest of the actors and crew.
