Anushka Sharma begins shooting for last leg of Chakda Xpress; to wrap filming soon

Anushka Sharma, who recently finished filming for the Kolkata schedule of her upcoming film Chakda Xpress, has started the last leg of the project. As per reports, the pace of shooting is going good and the movie is expected to wrap up very soon.

A source close to the project revealed that Anushka has been filming non-stop for Chakda Xpress since the past few months. Being a perfectionist, she is leaving no stones unturned for the project.

Anushka put in months of preparation to get into the skin of Jhulan Goswami and the last Mumbai schedule is going to be the most gruelling and demanding, the same source informed.

Bankrolled by Clean Slate Filmz and helmed by Prosit Roy, Chakda Xpress is a biopic of female fast bowler Jhulan Goswami and her struggles to fulfill the dream of playing cricket for the Indian women's team.

The sports drama will stream exclusively on Netflix. It is tentatively slated for release in 2023.
