Anushka Sharma shares an emotional post after her husband Virat Kohli hits a century and dedicates it to her

No Indian will ever forget yesterday when Virat Kohli scored his eagerly anticipated 71st century. At India's final game of the Asia Cup in Dubai, he scored a hundred after over a thousand days. It didn't take Kohli long to acknowledge that his wife Anushka Sharma has been his pillar of support during this journey. Anushka also made a lovely Instagram post for her husband Virat after the game.

Anushka shared numerous pictures of Kohli’s century moment from the match and wrote the caption, “Forever with you through any and everything (heart and infinity emojis).” Virat responded to Anushka's post by adding heart emojis to the comment section. The duo was cheered by her Sui Dhaga co-star Varun Dhawan, the wife of cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, social media personality and choreographer Dhanashree Verma, and others. Social Media was trending only with everyone talking about his century and memes about people who trolled him.

Post-match Virat spoke about dedicating his century to his wife and daughter

He said, “I feel blessed, grateful. The last two-and-half years have taught me a lot. I am going to turn 34 soon. Angry celebrations are a thing of the past. You see me standing here because one person has put things in perspective for me. That’s Anushka. This hundred is for her and for our little daughter Vamika as well. This hundred is dedicated to Anushka who stood by me all through and to daughter Vamika as well. When you have someone next to me, putting things in the right perspective, like Anushka who was with me all the side.”

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma is gearing up for the release of her next film Chakda Xpress which is based on the life of cricketer and former India Captain of the women’s team, Jhulan Goswami. The film is slated to release on the OTT platform, Netflix.
