Athiya Shetty to travel with KL Rahul to Germany for his surgery

Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul have been dating for a few years. On vacations, outings, and dinner dates, both have frequently been spotted together. But so far, none of them has publicly acknowledged their relationship. However, their mushy Instagram pictures speak volumes of their romance.

KL Rahul recently sustained an injury during a tournament and will soon have to undergo surgery. Athiya Shetty will be with him for the same. According to reports, the couple will travel to Germany on July 16 to treat KL Rahul's groin injury. The actress will stay by KL Rahul's side as he recovers for a month.

According to rumours circulating around, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are planning to tie the knot in December this year. They haven't confirmed nor refuted the marriage rumours, though.

Suniel Shetty, Athiya's father, dismissed the wedding rumours on a number of occasions. He previously said to a publication, “She is my daughter, she will get married sometime. I would want my son to also get married, the sooner the better. It's their choice. As far as KL Rahul is concerned, I love the boy. And it is for them to decide what they want to do, because times have changed. Beti aur beta dono hi responsible hai (My daughter and son are both responsible people). I would like them to make the decision. My blessings are always there for them.”
