Atrangi Re star Sara Ali Khan has the sweetest birthday wish for grandma Sharmila Tagore
Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, whose filmography boasts of several notable films such as Aradhana (1969), Amar Prem (1972), and Chupke Chupke (1975), is celebrating her 77th birthday today on December 8.
Her granddaughter Sara Ali Khan shared an adorable birthday post for her on her birthday. The Kedarnath (2018) actress, who fondly calls her grandma Badi Amma, took to Instagram to share pictures posing with her. She even thanked her for being “a constant pillar of support”.
Sara wrote, “Happiest Birthday, Badi Amma????????. I love you so much. Thank you for always being here for us and being a constant pillar of support. Inshallah, I hope that I can always make you proud.”
Sara Ali Khan is the daughter of Sharmila Tagore’s son, actor Saif Ali Khan from his former wife actress Amrita Singh.
Kareena Kapoor Khan also took to Instagram to wish her mother-in-law on her birthday. She dropped a gorgeous black-and-white picture of the veteran actress on Instagram to wish her birthday. “Happy birthday to my beautiful mother-in-law ICONIC (sic),” she wrote followed by heart emojis.
Sharmila Tagore’s youngest daughter, Soha Ali Khan, visited her mother at Pataudi Palace to celebrate the occasion. She also posted a beautiful picture with her mother and wrote, “Happy birthday from the apple to the tree.”
