Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor join forces for a new film?

Bhumi Pednekar, who is currently basking in the success of her latest film Badhaai Do (2022), has bagged an exciting film alongside Anil Kapoor, as per reports. Some media outlets report that the duo is set to team up for the first time ever for the upcoming film.

Not much else is known about the untitled project at the moment, but some reports suggest that Kapoor’s son-in-law Karan Boolani will mark his directorial debut with the film. His daughter and Boolani’s wife, Rhea Kapoor, will bankroll the project.

We have also learned that the film will be a modern take on love and relationships, with plenty of romance and sensuality. The team is looking at commencing the shoot in Delhi. The rest of the cast will be finalised soon.

When a publication tried to contact Boolani for the confirmation, he said, “I cannot talk about it. I am shooting for something in the second half of 2022 but things are not yet finalised.”

Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor were previously set to star in Karan Johar’s historical war drama Takht, alongside Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and Janhvi Kapoor. However, the big-ticket film has been put on the backburner for some time.
