Akshay Kumar, a Bollywood star, met Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, in Mumbai to talk about the northern state's impending film city. According to a statement from the UP CM's office, the meeting at the city hotel where Yogi Adityanath had earlier arrived for a visit to Mumbai lasted for 35 minutes. According to the statement, Kumar urged Adityanath to see his most recent movie, "Ram Setu," and said the Hindi film industry was eagerly anticipating the opening of the film metropolis that the Uttar Pradesh government is creating since it will offer a fresh option.
According to the statement, the chief minister acknowledged that movies are crucial for raising public awareness and advancing social and political concerns. Adityanath stated that when choosing their subjects, filmmakers should prioritise social and national conscience issues. Adityanath stated that his administration will shortly release a new film policy with a single window clearance procedure. He said that Uttar Pradesh's movie city would meet international standards.
The UP CM was briefed by Kumar during the 35-minute meeting that there is a lot of excitement surrounding the Film City project in the Indian film industry. According to what is reportedly the actor's statement to CM Adityanath, numerous major production companies, producers, directors, and actors are eagerly awaiting the opening of the film city in Uttar Pradesh. According to him, folks in the film industry would have a new choice for planning their projects once a world-class Film and Infotainment City is built in Uttar Pradesh.
The UP CM and Akshay also spoke about the planning and study that went into deciding the storyline for "Ramsetu," and Akshay emphasised that Adityanath should only see his movie once. Filmmakers should prioritise social and national issues when choosing their subjects, according to CM Yogi, who claimed that cinema plays a significant role in increasing public consciousness. A new film strategy is also being developed, he added, adding that the film city in Uttar Pradesh will meet international standards. According to the statement, Akshay Kumar was also asked by Adityanath to visit Uttar Pradesh.
