Border 2: Ayushmann Khurrana, Ammy Virk, And Ahan Shetty Team Up With Sunny Deol For Classic Sequel? Here's What We Know!

J.P. Dutta and Sunny Deol, who last collaborated 26 years ago on movies like Yateem and Kshatriya, are teaming up once again for a project that has been described as a "spiritual sequel" to their iconic film, 'Border', released in 1997.

Titled 'Border 2,' this new venture is distinct from its predecessor, as it is a standalone project with no direct or indirect connections to the original 'Border' storyline. Sunny Deol is set to portray the role of a soldier in this film, marking his return to a genre he is renowned for.

Excitingly, the cast of 'Border 2' includes talented actors such as Ayushmann Khurrana, Ahan Shetty, and Punjab's prominent star, Ammy Virk. Interestingly, it has been reported that Ayushmann Khurrana will be taking on a role that was initially offered to Kartik Aaryan before landing in his hands.

Meanwhile, for Ahan Shetty, 'Border 2' marks a significant follow-up to his 2021 debut in Tadap, despite the film not achieving the desired success. Notably, Ammy Virk, who has turned down several Hindi film offers in the past, has given his approval to be a part of 'Border 2.'
