Charge sheet filed against Poonam Pandey for 2020 nude photoshoot in Goa

A charge sheet has been filed against model and actress Poonam Pandey and her ex-husband Sam Bombay by the Canacona Police in Goa.

The complaint against the actress has been registered before the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Canacona for 'committing an obscene act, vulgar videography and dancing and singing in an open public space'.

Apparently, Poonam had done a nude photoshoot at Chapoli Dam in Goa in the year 2020. Videos from the incident had gone viral on social media, after which the actress had faced huge backlash.

As per reports, the offences against Pandey and her ex-husband have been registered based on the complaint lodged by an assistant engineer, subdivision II, works division XI, water resources department.

Notably, on 5 November 2020, Pandey was arrested in North Goa for filming a nude video. The arrest came after the Goa Forward Party (GFP) filed a complaint and FIR, and stated to the media that Pandey's video was an assault on the women of Goa.

In January this year, she was given protection from arrest by the Supreme Court of India, after being accused of involvement in the major porn film racketing controversy scandal that involved many Bollywood stars.
