One cannot deny that the value of persons in such professions increased when the Covid-19 outbreak struck the nation in 2020.

Dr Kotnis Ki Amar Kahani (1946)

This movie was released just a few months before India's independence from British dominion. Despite being in black and white, the plot skillfully explores the importance of healthcare around the world. The film, written and directed by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas, centers on the life of Dwarkanath Kotnis, an Indian physician who served in China during World War II.


Anand (1971)

Rajesh Khanna plays a significant role in the movie, directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee and had dialogue written by Gulzar. Supporting parts are played by Amitabh Bachchan, Sumita Sanyal, Ramesh Deo, and Seema Deo. The central narrative is around a doctor caring for a cancer patient. In the movie, Mr. Bachchan plays the part of Dr. Bhaskar, a physician specializing in cancer treatment. A cancer patient named Anand (Khanna) enters his life, and the two become friends.


Munna Bhai MBBS (2003)

Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra are the directors and producers of the comedy-drama movie Munna Bhai MBBS. The film features actor Sanjay Dutt in the lead role, with actors Gracy Singh, Jimmy Sheirgill, Arshad Warsi, Rohini Hattangadi, and Boman Irani supporting roles.

The film's storyline revolves around a man's life (Munna) and his topsy-turvy journey of becoming a doctor and saving patients’ lives.


Dear Zindagi (2016)

Famous stars Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt play essential roles in the Gauri Shinde-directed movie. In the film, Alia plays the part of Kiara, an aspiring cinematographer who discovers she has mental health issues. Kiara seeks help from Jehangir Khan (played by Shah Rukh Khan), a psychotherapist who uses cutting-edge techniques to address her mental health issues.

Doctor G

Although we are unsure of the film's specific plot, the trailer shows the life of a male gynecologist in practice and his difficulties in dealing with patients. The protagonist is a doctor played by actor Ayushmann Khurrana, while actress Rakul Preet Singh plays his love interest.
