Ranveer, who was most recently seen in Jayeshbhai Jordaar, has frequently displayed his exceptional acting abilities in films like Simmba, Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani, Gully Boy, and many others. In addition to his exceptional acting skills, Ranveer is a real energy ball who never fails to astound the audience wherever he is. Now, the ambitious filmmaker S. Shankar and one of the top stars in our nation, Ranveer Singh, are working together to produce the biggest pan-Indian cinematic event since Bahubali. The enormous undertaking will be based on the film version of the well-known Tamil epic novel Velpari, which is regarded as Tamil literature.

Experience to be bigger than ever

A source close to the development said, “With actor Ranveer Singh at the lead of this ambitious project, a lavish cinematic rendition of the renowned Tamil epic Velpari, Shankar hopes to create the largest pan-Indian film. The novel has everything to offer, including a larger-than-life hero, tremendous life lessons, a beautiful love tale, and magnificent visual-effect sequences whose magnitude will establish the next benchmark of action spectacles in India.”

Film to go on floors next year

The movie will be produced as a three-part epic in several Indian languages on a huge budget. The scope and complexity of the narrative prevent a single film from capturing all of its facets. A three-part movie may easily be made with the screenplay Shankar has created. He plans to begin filming the first part in the middle of 2023.

Ranveer’s upcoming release

In the action-comedy Cirkus, directed by Rohit Shetty, Ranveer will play the lead. The main characters in the film will be portrayed by Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez. In the Karan Johar-directed movie Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, he'll also reteam with Alia Bhatt, whom he co-starred with in Gully Boy. The movie also features Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, and Jaya Bachchan. He might possibly play Dev in the sequel to the blockbuster Bollywood film Brahmastra.
