Dobaaraa: Anurag Kashyap’s edgy thriller starring Taapsee Pannu gets a release date
Helmed by Anurag Kashyap, Dobaaraa is scheduled to hit cinemas on August 19, 2022.

Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming film Dobaaraa, which is billed as a new age thriller, finally has a release date. The film will enter cinemas on August 19 this year. The film was announced last year and marks Pannu's third collaboration with Kashyap.
Dobaaraa will also mark Taapsee's reunion with Pavail Gulati. Taapsee and Pavail previously shared the screen in Anubhav Sinha's Thappad in 2020, and their pairing drew a lot of interest. Dobaaraa is said to be a brutal cliffhanger with an edgy core and a feel that might leave you gasping for air. The film is directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Ekta Kapoor's Cult Movies and Sunir Khetarpal’s ATHENA.
Dobaaraa will also be screened at the London Indian Film Festival before its release.
Taapsee Pannu will also be seen in Blurr, her first production venture. The film will be a Hindi adaptation of the Spanish film, Julia's Eyes (2010) and will also star Gulshan Devaiah. She will also be seen sharing the screen space with Shah Rukh Khan for the first time in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki.
