Dream Girl 2: Paresh Rawal and Seema Pahwa join Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday starrer

Dream Girl (2019) is overwhelmingly Ayushmann Khurrana's best box office success to date. The film garnered generally positive reviews, thus it makes perfect business sense for the makers to approve a sequel. Nushrratt Bharuccha, Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, and Vijay Raaz were also featured in Dream Girl. The second instalment of the film is currently in production, and it will feature a new ensemble of actors.

There were earlier rumours that Sara Ali Khan had been chosen for the major role opposite the Article 15 (2022) star. According to reports, Tejasswi Prakash from Naagin 6 was also a candidate for the lead female lead in Dream Girl 2. The most current information indicates that Ananya Panday, not Tejaswi or Sara, has been cast in the role. The other cast members have also been decided upon.

Ananya Panday will play the lead role in the second instalment of the Raaj Shaandilyaa-directed movie. She is getting ready for the release of her highly anticipated flick Liger, which also stars Vijay Deverakonda. In addition, Paresh Rawal and Seema Pahwa have joined the cast of Dream Girl 2. This will be Khurrana's fourth project with Seema, following Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Bala (2019) by Amar Kaushik, and Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015) by Sharat Katariya.
