Bawaal, starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, was supposed to come out on April 7, but that date has now been postponed, according to a report from yesterday. It appears that another movie has now seized the same release date, though. Gumraah will have the same release date as Mrunal Thakur and Aditya Roy Kapur, who are appearing together for the first time in this film.

Gumraah is to release in theatres in April

The crime thriller, Gumraah is now scheduled to open in theatres on April 7. Along with the primary cast's first appearance together, the actor's dual role in the movie will be intriguing to observe. Aditya will appear in the movie in two different roles, a dual part he has never played before, while Mrunal will portray a police officer. Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series are the producers of Gumraah. Gumraah is an official Hindi version of the popular action-thriller movie "Thadam" in Tamil. Arun Vijay and Tanya Hope played the key characters in the movie, which was directed by Magizh Thirumeni.

Aditya Roy Kapur expresses his thoughts on working on this project

“I feel motivated and inspired to take part in conveying such a compelling tale. The original movie was so fascinating and engaging, and it made a big impression on me. Being given the chance to play two roles as an actor means twice as much preparation and twice as much of a task, but I'm definitely up for it! I'm excited to work with Vardhan, Murad Bhai, and Bhushanji to soon bring this intriguing thriller to the big screen.”

Meanwhile, Aditya Roy Kapur starrer web series The Night Manager is all set to stream on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar from February 17.
