Have Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar buried the hatchet?

Kartik Aaryan was set to star in Karan Johar’s Dostana 2 alongside Janhvi Kapoor but was soon dropped out from the project. There have been rumours that the two have become rivals since Kartik left KJo's film. Karan and Kartik, on the other hand, kept a respectful silence about the situation. And now, a viral video of them bonding at an event only serves to prove that they were never enemies.

Kartik and Karan not only shared the stage but they were also seen having a chat at a recent style awards night in Mumbai. A video of Kartik and Karan laughing as Kriti Sanon and Maniesh Paul joined them in conversation was one of the many viral moments from the awards show.

After his exit from Karan Johar's film, the Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011) actor never spoke about the negativity that surrounded him or the gangs that formed against him. However, filmmaker Anubhav Sinha spoke out against Kartik Aaryan being cornered in the same way that Sushant Singh Rajput was.

Later, after the success of his film Dhamaka (2021), Kartik told a news source that he doesn't worry about such things. He even said that his co-workers asked him to return it, but he believes in the saying that "actions speak louder than words."

However, it appears that time has healed everything for the better, and this video simply shows that they have let go of the past and made a fresh start.
