Hera Pheri 3: Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal Starrer Touted To Take Off From Phir Hera Pheri's End; Will Sanjay Dutt Play Ravi Kishan’s brother?

We made headlines last week when we revealed in an exclusive news that Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal have come together for 'Hera Pheri 3''s special promo and mahurat shoot. Also, we disclosed that 'Hera Pheri 3' would begin filming in the second half of 2023 and premiere in theatres in 2024. There have been numerous stories about the current state of this comedic caper ever since. We can now officially disclose that 'Hera Pheri 3' will pick up where 'Phir Hera Pheri' left off.
What Sources Revealed
“The fans have been eager to know what happens to the guns and 'Hera Pheri 3' will open with the closing scene of 'Phir Hera Pheri'. The story from there will take a leap and take the three characters on an international ride of guns and mafia,” according to a source familiar with the development. There is a much stronger connection with 'Phir Hera Pheri''s narrative, aside from the three main protagonists and the guns.
“Very few know that the plot of 'Hera Pheri 3' is actually written by the late writer, Neeraj Vora, who been a key contributor to the earlier two Hera Pheri films. His plot has been given the modern flavour for the current context. Newer characters will be introduced in Hera Pheri 3, which includes Sanjay Dutt too as a gangster,” the source further added.
Sanjay Dutt To Play Ravi kishan's Brother?
When questioned about Sanjay Dutt's persona, the insider said, “Sanjay Dutt plays the role of Ravi Kishan’s distant brother. Ravi Kishan is one of the many characters fooled by Raju, Shyam and Baburao in 'Phir Hera Pheri'. Sanjay’s come into picture in the comic capacity to represent the whacky track around Ravi Kishan and Sharat Saxena.”

'Hera Pheri 3' is anticipated to begin filming in June 2023 and will be shot both domestically and abroad. Pre-production for the movie, which will be directed by Farhad Samji, is about to begin. Meanwhile, Farhad is getting ready for the release of 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', the Salman Khan-starring Eid 2023 family film.
