Jawan Teaser: Shah Rukh Khan’s first look from Atlee’s film unveiled
Red Chillies Entertainment is behind the production of the highly anticipated flick.
Fans have been waiting for Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee to make a formal announcement about their project, and here it is. Jawan is the title of the action thriller, which will be released in theatres on June 2, 2023.
The makers unveiled a teaser today and after seeing SRK's bandaged avatar, fans are excited about the film's theatrical release.
The one-and-a-half-minute clip accompanied the announcement, which began with a view of the Northern Lights over mountain tops. Whistles can be heard as Shah Rukh's face, which is covered in bandages, is revealed. The video then switches to a television screen, where a coded message appears to be flashing.
Following that, Shah Rukh's character discovers a stash of weapons and hears a radio message. As hype music plays in the background, he laughs maniacally and says, "Ready." With its multilingual release, Jawan looks to be aiming for a pan-India audience.
Jawan, directed by Atlee and produced by Gauri Khan and Red Chillies Entertainment, stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. Sanya Malhotra plays a pivotal role in the film, which also marks the Bollywood debut of lady superstar Nayanthara. Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan's first pan-India film, will be released in five languages on June 2, 2023.
