
Jayeshbhai Jordaar faces legal issues from the Delhi court over prenatal sex-determination scene in the trailer
Ranveer Singh's Jayeshbhai Jordaar will hit the big screens on 13th of May 2022.
Divyang Thakkar directorial debut Jayeshbhai Jordaar's land in trouble ahead of it film's release. As informed by us the trailer of the film was launch few days ago and it received positive reviews from the audience and the critics too. But somehow the film is in legal trouble due to the portrayal of prenatal sex-determination scene in the trailer.
Speaking of which, it is shown that Ranveer Singh who is playing the lead role of Jayeshbhai, a gujarati man gets married to Mudra Patel (played by Shalini Pandey) and how they struggle to protect their unborn girl child.
According to Live Law, the scene from the film has got a red flag from the Delhi court. While advocate, Pawan Prakaash mentioned that prenatal sex-determination is prohibited in our country and such depiction will encourage the mass. He further hopes that those scenes should be deleted from the film for the sake of society.
Meanwhile, Jayeshbhai Jordaar is produced by Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma under Yash Raj Films. The film features Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Deeksha Joshi in key roles.
