Kajol brutally trolled and body shamed for wearing a bodycon dress at Apoorva Mehta’s birthday bash, fans come to her defence

A number of Bollywood celebrities were spotted at Dharma Productions CEO, Apoorva Mehta's birthday party last night. The event was attended by Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Gauri Khan, Aryan Khan, Ananya Panday and many others.

Bollywood actress Kajol was spotted in a black bodycon dress, as she posed gracefully at the camera. However, the Fanaa (2006) actress had to deal with the venom of the internet, as she was recently body-shamed for her public look. For the evening, she chose a black bodycon dress. Kajol was photographed by paparazzi as she was leaving the venue, and things quickly escalated.

Kajol chose a body-hugging black off-shoulder dress and teamed it with heels for the birthday celebration. After posing with BFF Karan Johar, she was seen exiting the event. Kajol received a lot of backlash after her video went viral, with some people bodyshaming her for gaining weight and wearing a body-hugging garment.

People slammed the actress' dress choice and her evident tummy fat as soon as the video was released online. Many people wondered if she was expecting a baby. 

Fans and a few others, on the other hand, came out in favour of the actress and slammed those who mocked her for her dress choice.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kajol was last seen in the 2021 Netflix film Tribhangaa alongside Mithila Palkar and Tanvi Azmi. She will be next star in Revathy’s directorial.
