Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who isn't afraid to express her opinions, said she finds it annoying when English-speaking "desi kids" speak Hindi with a tacky, old-fashioned British accent.
A social media user's message was being addressed by Kangana Ranaut on Twitter. The user had posted a link to a story about Italy's attempt to forbid the use of English and other foreign languages in formal communications.
The user wrote: “Hate me but we need to do the same, kids in Gurugram only speak in English but they only barely understand Hindi and forget about speaking Hindi.”
Kangana Ranaut retweeted the message and added her own commentary.
“I know I will invite trolling but honestly English speaking desi kids who speak Hindi in tacky second hand brit accent are simply annoying and irritating. While kids who have authentic desi accent/swag and who speak Hindi/Sanskrit fluently are top tier,” she wrote.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut recently finished filming "Chandramukhi 2." Additionally, she has her next appearances in "Emergency," "Tejas," "Manikarnika Returns: The Tale of Didda," and "The Incarnation: Sita."
