Shehnaaz Gill claimed on the television show that she received a call from Salman Khan while she was in Amritsar. She blocked the number because it was an unknown one and she didn't want to be harassed. Later, she received a text letting her know Salman Khan was attempting to contact her. She then verified the caller's identity using TrueCaller, and it was Salman Khan. He then offered her 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' after she instantly phoned him.
She said on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show,’ "I was in Amritsar visiting the Gurudwara when I received a call from an unknown number. And I have this habit of blocking unknown numbers, so I did the same. Then after a few minutes, I got a message that Salman sir is trying to call me. "
