Chillar Party

A group of young actors plays the main characters in this 2010 family comedy directed by Nitesh Tiwari and Vikas Bahl. A society's youngsters become friends with an orphan and his dog, Bhidu. They all devise a plan to save their canine companion, however, when a cunning politician decides to put down stray canines. The movie also took home the 2011 National Film Award for Best Family Movie.

Child actor Darsheel Safary was in every mood in Aamir Khan's film! His portrayal of Ishaan Awasthi struck a chord with parents as well as children. This Hindi film with a young protagonist made us all stop and reflect on where society has gone so wrong. The film dealt with issues such as laziness, failing to live up to parents' expectations in a fiercely competitive world, and being the black sheep when the other sibling is a perfect example of the ideal child.
