Shahid Kapoor celebrated his wife Mira Rajput becoming the face of a hair care company on Instagram Stories. The actor expressed his happiness and pride in Mira's accomplishment. Mira is a wellness enthusiast who also has a personal YouTube channel where she discusses diet, exercise, and fashion.

Shahid and Mira wed in 2015. They welcomed a son named Zain Kapoor in 2018 and a girl named Misha Kapoor in 2016. The pair celebrated seven years of marriage in July of this year. Mira recently discussed being referred to as Shahid's "star wife" in an interview with the chat show host Janice Sequeira. Mira stated, “We ought to get over it now. Maybe it was an association that one needed to make for recall value.
