Harnaaz Sandhu is on cloud nine after winning the coveted Miss Universe crown. She brought home the crown after a long gap of 21 years. Before her, Lara Dutta won it in 2000 and Sushmita Sen in 1994.
Harnaaz Sandhu, Miss Universe 2021, said in a recent interview that she would love to feature in the biopic of Priyanka Chopra. The Quantico (2015) star won the Miss World pageant in 2000 and went on to establish herself as a force to reckon with in years to come.
In an interview with a publication, Harnaaz was asked in which actor’s biopic she would love to feature. “Priyanka Chopra. I would love to love to be part of that. I think she has inspired me throughout her journey and she will keep on inspiring millions of us,” Sandhu said, excitedly.
The Miss Universe has time and again mentioned how Chopra has inspired millions of girls like her. Chopra too has been all praise for Sandhu.
During an interview, the former Miss World said, “I was very excited about it. The last time India had a Miss Universe was Lara Dutta in the year 2000. That was the year that I won Miss World as well. She (Harnaaz Sandhu) has brought home the crown after 21 years and she is 21, so she was born in the year that I won Miss World. I am so excited for her and I hope this is the beginning of an incredible journey. She is very smart and gorgeous, obviously, and I am very excited for her.”
We hope filmmakers are listening to Sandhu’s desire.
