Adipurush teaser, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, was released recently in Ayodhya.. The film is supposed to release in January 2023. But recent news is saying that filmmakers are planning to postpone the movie's release date. Therefore the "Adipurush" will not be released in January 2023. The filmmakers have not officially declared the movie release's postponement.
The story of the most awaited film is a new edition of the old mythology Ramayana. Whereas Prabhas plays Lord Rama's character in the movie, Kriti will appear as Goddess Sita. It is the first time these two actors are collaborating on the film. The film is supposed to release on the Sankranthi, but is going to be postponed but not disclosed yet.
Prabhas works predominantly in the Telugu film industry. He has gained popularity among the audience and is one of the highest-paid stars. At the teaser release event, Prabhas said he was terrified to play the character of Lord Rama. He wasted four days in fear of playing such an iconic character, then he called Om Raut, and they worked on it. He mentioned the film needs a blessing from Lord Rama and said, "Jay Shree Ram."
He added that every role has difficulty, but such character comes with responsibility and pride. His excitement is visible on his face. He feels that the audience will also shower love on the film because of the way OM has designed the film. The film includes stars like Saif Ali Khan, Devdatta Nage, and Sunny Singh. He mentioned the establishment of the film with love and respect towards Lord Rama and other characters.
On the occasion of the Sankranti Vijay starrer "Varisu," "Mega 154" starring Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja, "Veera Simha Reddy" by Nandamuri Balakrishna will also release on the same day.
