On Sunday during the IPL 2022 finale, the highly anticipated trailer for Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, was released. The trailer was released with a lot of fanfare on television during the T20 final match, which gave cricket and movie fans all over the world a rush.

This is the first time a trailer for a film has been released on a global television platform as well as in the sports world. Kareena was pregnant with her second kid, Jehangir Ali Khan aka Jeh baba, during the shoot, and she said that he was a big part of the film.

Taking to Instagram, Kareena Kapoor shared the trailer of Lal Singh Chaddha and wrote the caption, “A pandemic, two lockdowns, and a baby later... one of my most special films... also because my Jeh baba is very much a part of it (in my tummy). Thank you Advait and Aamir for having not just me but the both of us in it... it's something I will cherish forever. Over to you guys, finally... #LaalSinghChaddha.”

Lal Singh Chaddha marks the second collaboration of Aamir Khan and Advait Chandan following the 2017 film, Secret Superstar. Produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios, Laal Singh Chaddha is slated to hit the screens on August 11, 2022.
