While fans and well-wishers have expressed their sincere wishes for the actors, her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor's mother Neetu Kapoor commented on the post with the word 'Beautiful.'

The film Gangubai Kathiawadi is based on a chapter from the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai by renowned author Hussain Zaidi. The film, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, also stars Ajay Devgn and Vijay Raaz, apart from Alia Bhatt, who plays Gangubai, one of Kamathipura's most powerful, revered, and respected madams.
