Netizens Angry With Baba Siddique And His Son Zeeshan For Mistreating 'Old And Frail' Salim Khan At Iftar Party

Every year before Eid, Congress MLA Baba Siddique is known for having what could be called the biggest Iftar party in the city.
The Iftar party is filled with stars, and the who's who of Bollywood and the TV world are also present. Some of the biggest names in Hollywood, like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, can be seen at the event.

But this time, the hosts seem to have let down the Internet users after he was accused of mistreating Salim Khan, who is a veteran screenwriter and Salman Khan's father.
In a video from the party, Salim Khan can be seen walking in by himself. Baba Siddique and his son Zeeshan were there to meet him.
The 87-year-old can be seen trying to get inside the venue, but the father and son stopped him and asked him to take a few pictures.
Salim Khan looked clearly uncomfortable as he tried to take off his mask and keep his balance while the paparazzi took pictures. As the pictures were taken, Baba Siddique was seen lifting him up by the arm and helping him.
People on the internet didn't like how the hosts made fun of Salim Khan for taking pictures, and they criticised them for it. "He is old and frail, and Baba Siddique is just dragging him up for a photo," said one user.
"I found this very odd n off, he is an old man and needs some gentle hand holding rather than being forcefully stopped for just one photo. Siddique lost it here!" another Internet user wrote.
Many people also said that Baba Siddique and Zeeshan were rude and unkind.
On Sunday night, Baba Siddique's iftar party lit up the city as he invited many famous people to the yearly meal.
Salman Khan, who is close to the Siddiques, looked great in a black pathani as he walked in. With her husband, his sister Arpita Khan also went to the party.
Shah Rukh Khan usually goes to Baba Siddique's iftaar party, but neither he nor any of his family members were seen there this time.
