No, Aamir Khan's son Junaid is not making his film debut with Pritam Pyare

While many star kids are looking forward to their Bollywood debuts in the near future, it seems Aamir Khan's son Junaid and daughter Ira are not really keen for the same. While Ira had publicly stated that she is more interested in working behind the camera, there was some uncertainty about Junaid who many claimed is all set to follow his father's footsteps and become an actor.

A few days back, it was reported that Junaid Khan will be making his film debut in Aamir Khan’s production's Pritam Pyare. However, as per a latest update, this news is not true.

Furthermore, while Junaid may not be acting in the movie, he is definitely a part of the creative unit of the film.

“Pritam Pyare is a quirky small-town story about two brothers, Pritam and Pyare. Junaid is not a part of the cast, as rumoured in the media. It’s a small film with a big heart and an influential cameo by Aamir. He shot for his special appearance during the film’s Rajasthan schedule last month. The film is currently being shot in a Mumbai studio and will be wrapped up by this month-end," a source close to the project revealed.

Now coming to Pritam Pyare, the film reportedly feature Sanjay Mishra and Neeraj Sood. It marks the directorial debut of Sunil Pandey, who was an AD to Aamir in Taare Zameen Par (2007) and has been associated with Aamir Khan Productions for over ten years now.
