Nushrratt Bharuccha’s parents get teary-eyed after watching Janhit Mein Jaari

Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha is receiving appreciation from critics and audiences alike for her performance in the recently released film Janhit Mein Jaari (2022).
While the movie may not be raking in huge numbers right now, the word-of-mouth and reviews have been only positive so far. The film is being appreciated for its hard-hitting storyline and sending across a much-needed social message.
Recently, a special screening of the film took place which Nushrratt's parents also attended. Post the screening, the actor's parents were moved to tears after being overwhelmed by her superlative performance in the film.
“I saw a lovely actress on screen, I didn't believe that was my daughter," said her father.
Nushrratt's mother too shared how proud she felt after watching her daughter in the thought provoking film. “It was really good and I am so proud of Nushrratt. God bless her and I hope she sees more and more success in her life," she said.
For starters, Janhit Mein Jaari is the story of a young girl, a crusader who takes up a challenging job of selling condoms in a small town in Madhya Pradesh, India. The film portrays how Nushrratt's Manokamna or Mannu fights all odd to spread awareness on family planning and sexual health in a town plagued by stigma and taboo.
On work front, Nushrratt Bharuccha will next feature in Ram Setu with Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez, set to release on Diwali 2022. This will be followed by Chhorii 2, a sequel to Chhorii. She will also team up with Akshay Kumar, Diana Penty and Emraan Hashmi in Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta's 2023 comedy Selfiee.
