Shah Rukh Khan’s 'Jawan' is ready to make its grand entry in the cinemas on September 7. This is the second film in a row for the King of Bollywood in 2023. Sharukh Khan made his debut for 2023 with his superhit film 'Pathaan', which accumulated Rs 1000 crore at the worldwide box office, making it the highest grossing film in India till date.

Now even though the actor’s second film is releasing on a non-holiday weekend, Arvind Kejriwal might have given the biggest boost to the film.

The Delhi Chief Minister announced a 3-days public holiday from September 8 to 10 for the G-20 Summit which is to take place in Delhi. Owing to the fact that 'Jawan' is to be released on September 7th, many people believe that the CM might have made the situation more favourable for the movie. Fans of Shah Rukh Khan are overjoyed at the news, thanking the Delhi CM for boosting the engagement of the movie with the holidays.

'Jawan' is helmed by Atlee Kumar and produced by Gauri Khan. The film also includes stars like Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and more. Deepika Padukone is also to have a special cameo appearance in the film. The film is to be released in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
