Post marriage, I received 600 messages that read ‘What the f**k!’, says Neha Dhupia

Actress Neha Dhupia is celebrating her fourth wedding anniversary today (10 May). The Julie (2004) actress, who got hitched to Angad Bedi on 10 May 2018, had shocked everyone with her sudden decision to walk down the aisle.

She says there was no time to inform all her friends as everything was planned in just two days as Angad was apprehensive that Neha might change her mind. The two, who met at a gym and hit it off instantly, got married at a Gurudwara in Delhi as per Sikh rituals.

In a recent interview, Neha became reminiscent of the past- on how she became friends with Angad and the way their friendship subsequently bloomed into love.

The actress fondly remembers Angad's unusual style of proposing to her; the day he directly went to her parents and told them that he wants to marry her.

“I had no idea about it! This was when I was dating someone else. When Angad met my boyfriend, he was nice to him, but wasn’t subtle about his love for me,” Neha said.

While the wedding was a very intimate one, a lot of people were unhappy about not being invited. Speaking on it, Neha said, “When I checked my phone after putting up the Instagram post announcing my marriage, I had around 600 messages that read, ‘What the f**k!’ instead of ‘Congratulations’.”

Presently, the couple is happily married and proud parents to their kids- daughter Mehr Dhupia Bedi and son Guriq Dhupia Bedi. The duo keeps sharing cute family photos on social media which seem adorable and awe-inspiring.
