Ranveer Singh’s THANKFUL post after receiving the Etoile d'Or award at Marrakech Film Festival

Ranveer has regularly shown off his extraordinary acting skills in movies like Bajirao Mastani, Simmba, Padmaavat, Gully Boy, and many others. Along with his superb acting abilities, Ranveer is a pure adrenaline bundle who never fails to amaze the crowd wherever he is. On Friday night, as he accepted a homage award, Ranveer Singh seized the stage at the Marrakech International Film Festival's opening night and entertained the audience with dancing and a spontaneous rap performance.

The celebration of Indian cinema in Marrakech is not new. Previous honorees of the festival included Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan. In 2012, the festival held a special sidebar to commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema. Post attending the film festival, Ranveer shared a gratitude post and expressed his joy in receiving the award. He shared a picture from his winning moment and wrote, “Cinema is a unifying force! I feel immensely honoured that my work has transcended cultural and geographical boundaries, and has earned me such love and recognition in beautiful Morocco I’m overwhelmed with gratitude!”
An open-air showing of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2015 multi-award-winning 18th costume drama Bajirao Mastani, in which Singh played one of his breakthrough parts, was introduced by Singh after his appearance at the official opening ceremony in Marrakech's renowned Jemaa El Fna Square.
Ranveer’s work front
The action comedy Cirkus, directed by Rohit Shetty, will include Ranveer. The main characters in the film will be played by Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. Additionally, he will work alongside Alia Bhatt again in the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani directed by Karan Johar.
