'Rishi Kapoor is going to be extremely happy,' says Neetu Kapoor on her acting comeback with Jug Jugg Jeeyo

'Rishi Kapoor is going to be extremely happy,' says Neetu Kapoor on her acting comeback with Jug Jugg Jeeyo

With Dharma Productions’ Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Neetu Kapoor is all set to make her acting comeback. Directed by Raj A Mehta, the family entertainer has been one of the most awaited films of 2022.

In the film, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor will be seen sharing the screen with Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Varun Dhawan. We saw the actress last in Besharam, which came out in 2013, where she starred opposite her husband Rishi Kapoor and their son, Ranbir Kapoor.

At Jug Jugg Jeeyo’s trailer launch on Sunday, Neetu Kapoor expressed her feelings about being back on the silver screen and said that Rishi Kapoor would be very happy for her. She stated that the film has permitted her to come out of the pain she was going through.

She thanked producer Karan Johar, director Raja Mehta and the entire team for their support. She further said about this that the film is very special for her and she is proud of it. “I can't be thankful to anyone more than you, Karan. You're the one who pushed me, told me that I have got to work. That has been the best decision for me. I'm sure he (Rishi) is going to be extremely happy. This movie is always going to be special because I'm coming back to Hindi films,” the actress said.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo will hit theatres on June 24, 2022.
