Sam Bahadur Teaser Out: Vicky Kaushal's Stellar FAUJI Avatar As Sam Manekshaw Unveiled; Film Set To Release On 'THIS' Date! (Watch Video)

Vicky Kaushal has finally unveiled the teaser of his upcoming film 'Sam Bahadur,' which is based on the life of India's first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and also features Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead roles.

The teaser gives us a glimpse of Vicky Kaushal as Sam Manekshaw, a brave and visionary leader. The film will chronicle Manekshaw's life and career, including his role in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, which led to the creation of Bangladesh.

In a recent interview, Vicky Kaushal shared that he felt that there's a lot to take back for him from the titular role of India's greatest war hero and first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw. He said, "Sam Manekshaw was a man of great courage, conviction, and integrity. He was a true leader who inspired his troops and led them to victory in the 1971 war. I am honored to be playing this role and I hope to do justice to his legacy."

Sam Bahadur is scheduled to hit theaters on December 1, 2023.
