Sara Ali Khan extends support to India's first ever push-ups challenge; asks people to register

Sara Ali Khan is not only a lovely actress, she's a fitness enthusiast too. She is a regular at the gym and swears by fitness as the only way to achieve a healthy, beautiful and fit body.

Recently, the 27-year-old Sara took to Instagram to announce India's first ever push up challenge competition titled 'Pushups Ka Mahasangram'. The challenge will be held in Pune on April 15 and is open to participants from all across the country.

A Rajendra Somani initiative, 'Pushups Ka Mahasangram' aims to bring together the country's fitness and sports enthusiasts under one roof.

Sharing a video on Instagram, Sara wrote: "First time in the country : push up challenge! Cannot wait So go save the date Visit www.pushindiapush.com now."

The winner of 'Pushups Ka Mahasangram' will get cash prize of over Rs 1 crore!

In her trademark 'Namaste Deviyon aur Sajjanon', Sara starts the video looking cheerful and jovial. She goes on to add that Pushups Ka Mahasangram will commence from April 15, 2023 at Pune Balewadi stadium. "Prize money is Rs 1 crore+ and the participants will also get medals and certificates," Sara revealed.

Wondering which city, town, village, sport, academy and gym would give India its first 'pushup champion', Sara exhorted people to register now as only the first 10,000 lucky participants will be a part of the mega event.

"So register now if you wish to become India's first Pushups Mahayoddha," the Kedarnath actress concluded.

Sara Ali Khan has an interesting line-up of films this year

On professional front, Sara Ali Khan was last seen as Rinku Sooryavanshi in Aanand L. Rai's 'Atrangi Re' (2021).

Khan will next feature in Laxman Utekar's yet untitled film opposite Vicky Kaushal, and in 'Gaslight' alongside Vikrant Massey.

Besides, Sara will also play reedom fighter Usha Mehta in the biopic 'Ae Watan Mere Watan', which will stream on Amazon Prime Video. She has also committed to star in Jagan Shakti's untitled project and would soon start filming for the same.
