Sara Ali Khan Finally Opens Up About Break-Up With Kartik Aaryan

In the latest episode of 'Koffee With Karan', young actresses Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday graced the Koffee couch and spoke at lengths about their love life, friendships in the industry, their mothers, poor performances and much more! During the conversation, Karan also revealed that Sara and Ananya share the common ex-boyfriend as they both dated Kartik Aaryan at different points in their life.

Sara Ali Khan on break-up with Kartik Aaryan:

Karan asked them whether it's easy to be friendly with each other as they once dated the same guy. Sara kept her answer generic as she said, “I don't want to say that ya, it's all easy because then it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn't always easy. When you are involved with anybody, whether it's friends, professionally, romantically, espically if I am, I get involved and invested. It is not like, ‘Oh yeah, it doesn’t really matter, whatever its today, whatever its tomorrow'. It's not like that. It does effect you. But ultimately you have to rise beyond that.”

She then said, “Something I have realised without sounding semi-negative, is that there are no permanent predicaments in this business. In my personal experience, there is no point making permanent best friendships, pinky promises, saying I'll never talk to you again. All these nevers and always nahi hota (doesn't happen)."

Sara Ali Khan & Kartik Aaryan Relationship:

Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan dated for a brief period after she mentioned her likeness towards him in a previous season of 'Koffee With Karan'. As their romance built up, they even landed a romantic film with Imtiaz Ali titled 'Love Aaj Kal'. However, the film flopped and not much later, the couple also parted ways. Later, Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday worked in 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' and allegedly dated for some time.

Meanwhile, Sara and Ananya now share cordial bond with ex-boyfriend Kartik Aaryan. Sara and Kartik were spotted casually chatting OTTplay Awards in September 2022 and this year, Sara attended a Ganesh Chaturthi celebration at his house. Meanwhile, Sara and Ananya are also good friends. They workout together, party together and even stay connected on calls and texts.
