Shama Sikander to be featured in Short Film ‘Mombae’

Shama Sikander has a large fan base that loves her unconditionally, supports her at all times, and eagerly awaits her social media updates because of her reputation for choosing roles and projects that are distinctive from the norm.

When a mother loves, she does so without conditions and without limits. She hides her love for her kids in the small things she does for them, the small sacrifices she makes for them, in the lines on her face and the smiles on her lips. Shama Sikander's upcoming initiative is a tribute to all the mothers who are holding onto their tears in order to cultivate a better future for their kids. The short film, titled "Mombae," is made by Saumitra Singh.

Kanchan Srikrishna is the producer of Mombae under the banner Radiant Rays Production and in collaboration with Shiprartz and Shukar Studios Pvt Ltd. Abhi Raj Sharma wrote the film's stunning script, while Darshit Milan Gupta served as DoP.

Shama Sikander, an actress, is still renowned for her work in the television series "Yeh Meri Life Hai." In the programme, she played Pooja Mehta. She later collaborated with Vikram Bhatt on the widely acclaimed and well-watched miniseries Maaya. She last made an appearance in the 2019 film Bypass Road.

On the business front, Shama founded her own production company, Shama Sikander Films Pvt. Ltd., and created the “Ab Dil Ki Sunn” short film series. The series, which consists of seven short films, addressed issues like mental health and depression. For her work on ground-breaking content, Shama Sikander has gained recognition. She is regarded as one of the bravest and most audacious actors. She has never been afraid to take on jobs that are significantly different and unusual.
