Sara was recently asked about actor-mom Amrita Singh's reaction to her breakups in a recent interview. She was also asked what her father, actor Saif Ali Khan, thought about the failure of her 2020 film Love Aaj Kal. When asked what her mother, Amrita Singh, said to her after a breakup, Sara said, "It's okay."

Sara was rumored to be dating her Love Aaj Kal co-star Kartik Aaryan. The two have never confirmed or denied their romance; nevertheless, filmmaker Karan Johar commented about their supposed separation in an interview last year.
